BART DE BROUWER /// DIRECT OFFTAKE AGREEMENTS AND RISK MANAGEMENT - OUTSMART
We are OutSmart, since 2008 active in the renewable energy sector. We act as frontrunner in the energy transition. We are known and are being asked for our Power of Predictability: the ability to predict accurately, our pro-active and transparent way of collaboration and our innovative solutions. We work for investors, owners, fund managers of renewable production assets (like wind- and solar parks and biomass power plants) and for industrial off-takers of energy.
One of our key propositions is Facilitating Direct Offtake Agreements. There we realise the best power price for generators and offtakers of renewable energy. We enable this by matching all interests as transparent and predictable as possible. Consider us as a new type of intermediary with a strong focus on direct connecting generators and offtakers. (peer to peer).
The proposition "Facilitating Direct Offtake Agreements and Risk management" is the focus area of Mr. Bart de Brouwer.

ANNE HUIBRECHTSE /// DIRECTOR STRATEGIC & REPUTATION RISK /// DELOITTE
Anne Huibrechtse is Director Strategic & Reputation Risk within Deloitte Netherlands, with focus on energy transition.
According to previous Deloitte research, sustainability is one of the top three risks for corporate leadership. One recurring and essential concept is the energy transition. Both public and private parties are heavily involved in effecting an energy transition, aiming to decarbonize the energy sector and to change existing logistics and governance structures away from fossil fuels. Business participation in this process is not just welcomed, it is necessary. The energy transition is more than a shift from fossil to renewable sources of energy. It is about changing the systems of production, ownership and value creation. Therefore, we need a system change towards a new economy, based on collaboration, cultural changes as well as changing revenue and financial models, regulation and innovative technology.
